And for that matter the asian crisis has been going on for years, Why is it become so important in the last 2 weeks? And if so many people think its not important it sure has been important enough to be made put into everyones mind. I am amazed that so many people can just dismiss this so quickly as not material. I guess being in the computer era and on line and hitech etc I can do that too.. But I remember a few years ago when it sure made me very nervous. You dont need to belive in something to see what effect it will have on the world and I think it will take a lot of us by surprise one way or another. Faith and beliefs are extremely strong emotional builders, people die for their relegion and for their country. We can dismiss that as having no consequence on the world either.
