vargas - Placer Dome has a jv with a little company called Coral Gold, CLH.v. Coral has a property, the Robertson, adjacent and on-strike with Placer's Pipeline deposit. Placer started drilling the property on August 20. For anyone who still has the stomach for speculative mining stocks, it's worth a look. Now for disclosure, I bought 2000 shares at C$2.50 back in July. Stock has since traded as high as 3.50, albeit on low volume. Closed on Friday at C$2.29, not bad in this market. Do your DD. There's also a thread at SI: Subject 8722 BTW, if I added correctly, BGO has traded 40 million shares in the past 2 months in Toronto alone ! Draw your own conclusions as to how information is disseminated in this market. regards - Tom
