They should be thinking of erecting statues in parks; he and Geithner were a little slow off the mark (Paulson too), but the Fed and Treasury were making it up as they went along and we owe them all, the economics teams from both administrations, a huge debt of gratitude for their hard work and creative solutions.

Congress, grandstanding and accepting absolutely no blame as usual, was busy turning my stomach.
