not paying for a valve replacement on a 90 year old is a death panel You're entitled to your opinion, however unexplained and inexplicable. <g> I will say that I'm impressed with your generosity. I would have thought you'd be against high taxes as a matter of both principle and self interest. Or maybe you don't pay taxes so it doesn't affect you personally. I'm not ashamed to say that I would prefer not to pay for a valve replacement for a 90 year old. My dad was 90 when they diagnosed a valve problem. He didn't even consider having surgery. He rejected the idea out of hand.
