>> Some capitalist you are!

That I am, but to me, what defines a "profession" is that they provide a service for which the public cannot judge for itself the value of, and they are in the position of relying upon the professional for making competent and equitable decisions about things.

When an attorney renders his opinion as to whether you should settle or move forward with litigation, it is the same principle. The final decision rests with client, but he has to rely on the attorney's judgment as to what will deliver the best value. Same with CPAs when decisions are made as to alternative tax treatments or whether to appeal tax audit results or other complicated issues. And it is the same with your business as we've discussed -- end-users have no idea about the cost/benefit of a revision to a system, they only want what they want.

Just let the taxpayer pay for anything and everything a patient wants and a provider is prepared to provide.

I'm really just saying the government is the last entity on earth I want to see making these decisions.
