The point that you are missing is that under the federal plan the government will decide what kind of protection I get.

What makes you think I'm missing that? I have long advocated for a market solution. Nor am I missing the point that a lot of people, including moi, are unhappy with the tack of this legislation. So what exactly would you have me do about it? What evidence do you need that I am not missing the point?

Since we have public insurance, we will have rationing. I've been under Medicare for two years now along with my longstanding Blue Cross. Both have rationing. I don't know of any health coverage that doesn't have rationing.

The only alternative to rationing in a public system is for the taxpayers to just pay for anything and everything any doctor will order, which will make the country go broke even faster than it will with rationing. Is that what you want? Would you have me advocate that? What do you want from me?
