The people weren't allowed to see it? They debated this bill for 6 months. Everyone knows what's in it.

The polls show the people overwhelmingly want health reform. What's hilarious is that the most socialist thing about the Dem bills was the public option and that is what polls consistently wanted the Dems to pass. The health bill actually lost popularity when the public option was dropped.

If you'd have said the bill was socialist with the public option in it, I would have agreed with you. I am against the public option. But now without the public option, you don't have much of a basis for calling it socialist anymore.
