you are using a different muscle group for the other exercises. I could do decent bench presses or dumb bell exercises and couldn't do one push up. Now up to twenty but it took a long time. why, using different muscles. It is very important to go through a group of exercises to maintain flexibility.

oh, i had to roll over etc to get up. however, gaining strength and balance in legs, stomach, i now only need to roll over after total exhaustion. g

we are making progress in our old age.
