Oh, I agree. Solar and wind can be part of the picture, but they won't be a large part any time soon. I've repeatedly posted that I think nuclear and natural gas have to play the largest role, supplemented by solar and wind. That's the best way to go. But we have some pretty good headwinds against that now.

The fact is the right doesn't like anything but oil and coal and the left doesn't like nuclear. Until we start somehow electing centrists that are more interested in solving problems than in sticking to ideology, we won't get any closer to solving the big problems in this country. That's the sad fact.
