Two years ago we had something similar but it started freezing. It was too heavy for the one ton plows so the township had to do all 3 routes with the deuce and a half. Had to move that big truck right along to get everything done. That baby was tossing that heavy slush 15' off the road. Mile after mile without a mailbox standing.

That is too bad about the warming temps............there is nothing nicer than a cool, crisp white Christmas. The melting snow and ice can really be treacherous so it's definitely best you stayed home.

I asked because of a book I read about the big winter storm of 1888 in the mid-west. I don't think anything has surpassed the devastation of that blizzard, but I'm really not sure of that.
