Upset that he is now regarded as a sellout, Nelson struck back.

"Now, apparently I didn't say, 'Mother, may I?' in the process of writing that language because others took issue with it, even though they cannot constructively point out how it doesn't prohibit the use of federal funds or wall off those funds or keep them totally segregated. They just didn't like the language," he said.

"You know, it's unfortunate, though, to continue to distort and misrepresent what happens here in the body of the Senate. It's difficult enough to have committees, difficult enough to have cooperation. It's difficult enough to have collegiality. When politics are put above policy and productivity, this is what we get," he continued.

What is it with these Democrats and their petulant whining?

Nelson, now hear this: You ARE a sellout. You know you're a sellout. So just admit it, take your lumps, and stop bitchin' and whinin' like a three year old or Obama.

This isn't the first time that Americans in support of life have been deceived.

We have a classic example in Virginia. There was a delegate whom I will leave unnamed during the Reagan era. He courted the Reagan supporters and was elected to the Virginia General Assembly on the basis of embracing Reagan's view of life and vowed to support life----without their support he would not have been elected.

When the various bills came before the Virginia House---he abandoned those who elected him and voted 100% the opposite direction on all issues dealing with life issues from conception to death.

He was not re-elected in that district-----he then moved to another district and got elected again but with his new clothes rather than the committment he gave to honor the views of Reagan. (In retrospect there was no committment, this politician was using people to accomplish just the opposite of what they wanted.)

When Nelson and Offutt were mentioned in the same breath, I figured Nelson would cave in----it is unfortunate, if he had held he would have assured that Offutt would survive and that the Obamacare would face more scrutiny in the Senate as well as by the American public.

Offutt was simply a diversion to put pressure on Nelson by Obama and Reid imho.

Did Obama/Reid and the Dems use this major security site to gain a vote----playing games with our defense to achieve their grab for power over Americans' lives????
