Then I guess our rules mean nothing, do they, if they can redefine them."
RedState's blogger wrote, "If ever the people of the United States rise up and fight over passage of Obamacare, Harry Reid must be remembered as the man who sacrificed the dignity of his office for a few pieces of silver. The rules of fair play that have kept the basic integrity of the Republic alive have died."

He'll be remembered for a lot more than that..

These are real dirty tricks of the leftists in the Democrat Party.

They couldn't require a 2/3 majority for original passage in the house or Senate, only a simple majority of 51%-----now they want to require any future body be required to have 2/3 majority to amend.

This nation has been there before with ERA--------which would have transferred all power to the Federal Government from the states.

This is of the same kind-----so Pelosi/Reid/and Obama can chuckle in their nicorette filled rooms over how they duped the American people and their hands drip in the blood of our own future citizens.

Folks, as Senator John McCain would say, this is an example of Hospice and death panels in New York City.

nytimes.com

A month ago I would have paid little attention to this article; however I do now-----as Death Panels are part of the Obamacare that the Senate just passed------.

The fact is that these Death Panels have been about 30 years in the making under the Democrats--------the so-called " Death With Dignity Bill" was the bill that got their foot in the door in Virginia and the nation.

Slowly they, the Democrats, have built the system and now are incorporating this already existing Death Panel system into the Obamacare bills.

WHY DID THAT ARTICLE ATTRACT MY ATTENTION THIS A.M.

At the present time I have a friend who went to the doctor to ask for some help with getting to and from doctors under Homehealth Services. In need of physical therapy this person cannot drive to appointments and park------a cancer survivor, this person walks with a cane.

So what did the doctor send---------Hospice. Hospice did what they are trained to------they began 'pallative' treatment-----and have drugged this friend to the point of barely functioning.

The doctor prescribed care but not the friendly homehealth care that has been known for decades in Northern Virginia.

My friend sat and cried through a drugged state and said "I am dieing"-----saying further " My doctor has not told me I am dieing----why did the doctor prescribe Hospice".

Well this friend is backing off of all of the medicines prescribed by Hospice-------yes Hospice took over prescribing and organizing medications for pallative care, dieing.

Several of us friends witnessed the drugged state before XMAS---the friend under Hospice has now called the doctor and ask why Hospice was prescribed and not general help known as home health care.

And, ask the doctor to give her opinion on whether or not the friend is dieing---------the doctor said no that the friend is not dieing.

As a friend of the friend-----I ask why the doctor prescribed Hospice to take over prescribing medications and drugging this friend----------as we used to say-----"This does not compute".

Actually, it does compute---the Democrats have championed the killing of future American Citizens and now are championing the killing of not only the old but people such as my friend who is a cancer survivor but is considered disposable through throwing them into Hospice.
