I doubt that, too, since it obviously didn't happen and would NOT have happened given the weakness of their numbers.

Obviously, had they been offered any opportunity to participate they would have jumped at the chance. Not one significant provision the Rs. suggested has been incorporated into this bill unless one or more Ds also pushed for it. Essential items like tort reform -- something no legitimate health care reform can omit -- totally omitted.

If only they HAD pouted in the corner! They supported the crazy birthers and tea partiers. They attacked everything he did at every opportunity. Not a signal of wanting bi-partisanship. It even seemed that their early no-go "bi-partisanship" on health care was just a stalling tactic..
