There is no way to get around Federal US taxes no matter where you live.No interest in giving up US citizenship and that would not help either. My beef is with high tax states.Higher net worth individuals do not need to stay in a given state.I do not feel US Federal tax is unreasonable. The upside to US Federal taxes is limited as it will change behavior and lower ultimate revenue as I have descibed in my case. For example who would mind living on 200K a year if you dont work and have a house. One could easily spend six months a year traveling the world on this and have money left over.US will raise taxes by inflation or VAT or Federal Sales tax.It is about time the 50% of Americans who pay no tax chip in (they only pay some tax via inflation at this time)This 50% just spent years in an orgy of consumption and living much higher than their means, escpecialy relative to the rest of the world. No better person to give them the message than Obama. He is US version of Brazils Lula.Only Lula had to give Brazilians diminished expectations for a couple years while Obama has little hope to offer for many years.Still he will have an easier job taxing the little guy.I am a free thinker not an ideologue.I believe in a tax on wealth above a certain point
