Our country would be best served by a minimalist legislative process, meeting once every four years with special sessions as needed. The more time they spend creating laws, the worse it gets. A president who ran on the issue of examining the work of congress for the last 50 years for provisions that could be repealed could find very fertile ground for a candidacy IMO.
