Yes but on the contrary the value of the placement(as per share) may make a negative perception of security being overvalued in the aftermath of positive field release. That could have effect on both participants as investment appreciation as well as value of the company. In another aspect the drilling would serve as an ultimate sweetener for participant if that was to be a good one. Negotiating a deal with hand like that could have result of better warrant exercise price or other concessions(GHE side) in return of exclusive right to examine the findings in the way similar to first refusal right(other side)with no details till the deal is reached ( Standard practice).
This is my speculation(theory)why news release could be on hold if such a hold was ever placed. The disclosure has to do with equal distribution of information not with the way of doing business which again is in the hands of issuer. The information about talks has been published and related issues will be, as soon as they become available. The hands are clean for the future.
