yes the vast majority of CRA loans are considered performing or approximatley 84-89% of the loans are "perfoming". Unfortunatley for your point, that means that there is an 11-16% default rate. Approximatley 7x the default rate of traditionally underwritten loans. piss poor. BofA one of the largest CRA lenders, has less than 7% of it's mortgage portfolio in CRA loans, but that small percentage represents 29% of their mortgage losses piss piss poor educate yourself son. realclearmarkets.com
