Agreed, I drive everywhere I go unless they don't have a bridge, e.g. Australia.

Drive or take a private plane to the international departure airport, then take Singapore (or similar) business class across the water.

The issue with flying is that the "drive radius" keeps growing. For instance, it is a 4 hour drive from Cleveland to Cincinnati. I would not think of flying for that trip. It is a six plus hour drive from Cleveland to Louisville. The Louisville trip has always been outside my "drive radius". Now I am not sure. Flying you can have a meeting and go back and forth in the same day to Louisville. You could not do that driving. Down and back in the same day to Cincy is routine - for Bearcat football - it is well worth the drive.
