Believe she said 8% of the land in the county is private. She has 40 acres and her neighbors on the section have another 120. That makes up only a small % of the land in the county itself.

Uh, my neighbors and I own 160 acres, a quarter section. My piece is 40. The Kootenai National Forest to which we are attached is 2.2 million acres nearly three times the size of Rhode Island.
