Unfortunately, looks bogus.

Traced it back to original report mentioned in article, and searched the report for "oro".

Nothing there.

I am willing to be corrected though, if you can find an official document or press release.

There are no references to United Nations gold coins in any important world newspapers that I have checked.

Could not find any reference to the UN minting gold coins in the report mentioned in that link. Searched gold (there are a few references to gold price and then a few references to Goldman Sachs), coin (there is one reference to 'a term coined by Paul McCulley' of PIMPCO).
