"THe "hit" could be from the PETN splashing on him. Was he sitting close to the terrorist ("alleged bomber")? Or was he a passenger who wrestled him to the ground?"

Good question, and I don't know the answer. But I'll be looking to see the facts reported. As to PETN splashing, the ABC photo showed the package unbroken, but what do I know. Something caused a fire, reportedly up to the ceiling.

Haskell said he was 7 rows behind the bomber, and Rosenblith said he was 17 rows behind. Neither took down the terrorist.

I have written to the primary reporters at the Post-Dispatch and Detroit News asking this, and other questions. I mainly want to know the stories of the ticket agent and her supervisor, who was responsible for letting the bomber board the plane without passport, nor intensive screening.
