The Israelis must be scratching their heads as they look at the United States repeated failures to grapple with this problem.

Uh........the US couldn't possibly do a system like the one in Israel. First of all, Israel has only six million people who are predominately Jewish. Less than 20% percent of the population is Arab. There are only two major airports in the country and most flights are international. They do not use their airports to get around their country like we do. If the US were to enact the same intensive security policies, we would have airport gridlock. It would be totally unworkable.

Which leads me to contemplate as follows:

1. The guy was no dummy, he had the best grades at university.
2. He still opted for a no luggage, one way ticket, while travelling under his Muslim name.

My thought: He was pushed by his Muslim 'Brethren' to do this and set himself up the best he could to be caught prior to embarking on this flight.

Unfortunately the recent profiling policies imposed on TSA and their overseas affiliates let him pass through easily.

Bad news for him, for his father - a son in jail in spite of his efforts - and for all us air passengers now exposed to little o's idiot actionism new rules.
