We got the message Obama sent. Golf and beach time are more important to Obama than a terrorist plot thwarted by the crew with help from passengers.

Perhaps it is coming home to Americans on the "mainland of the United States" (America)-----on our continent just how out of touch someone is when they live in Hawaii or vacation there.

Despite rapid communications-----let's face it Obama was not prepared mentally to deal with what was happening in America being on vacation.

This is comparable to someone in the United States being the Prime Minister of England and being expected to respond to what is happening in England while living in the USA.

Obama mentioned in an interview when he went to Washington as a new Senator that he was not comfortable in the city of Washington, D.C. This discomfort with the city of D.C. now appears to have expanded to a discomfort with the mainland of the USA.

Why could he have not taken a vacation on the Mainland of America, the heart of the United States.

He could have flown down to Texas and played golf with President George Bush------and the girls could have experienced being put on horses to ride.

By the way, what was it with the ambulance and Obama or Obama and his family in Hawaii. The news here glossed over it and said that Obama said that-- that was personal. If a President or in this case a titular President has an emergency health problem with either he or his family------doesn't the personal become of concern to the public.
