You are mixing facts and fantasy.

Hardly - the wheat belts would move slightly north and the southern states could grow more fruit.

It is a fact that the high yielding varieties of wheat and corn are not heat tolerant

Only because we engineered them for colder climates.

Tree ferns wouldn't support a very large population.

Fir trees support next to nothing - needles are not digestible by most animals. Besides you just burn those ferns to the ground and till them under and grow food crops.
