I'm not sure where you got that idea. You will definitely increase the number who are on state-run Medicaid.

There is little evidence people are going to allow themselves to be forced into buying insurance they don't want. There is no reason to do so. Pay the $750/year and buy insurance when you get sick; you'll be way ahead of the game.

I plan to cancel my policy as soon as the bill becomes law. I can pay $750/year or $11,000, which am I going to do?
