You're right - he was transiting in Amsterdam, and would have been on the other side of Passport control.

What bothers me about this story is that the alleged bomber was supposed to have suffered burns from trying to light his underwear on fire (where they say the explosive was hidden) but the photos of the underwear were not showing any signs of burns. I think this is yet another false flag op with a view to getting support for attacks in Yemen.
