Not only that, but you said: CBO scored it, but said, "We don't actually think they can do it, but if they did, here's what it would amount to."

Well, that's exactly what has happened with the Dem bill. The CBO has scored it and says it will cut the deficit by $300B over the next 10 years. Then they go on to say that it will be tough to achieve. So the parallels with what the CBO scored and said now versus for Bush's part D plan are there.

The only question is why do you think it's ok to pass health spending plans when it is GOP, but not when it is Dem. I find that to be contradictory, especially in light of the fact that the CBO scored the GOP plan to COST money, whereas, they have scored the Dem plan to SAVE money.
