I would have to take Ron Paul's side on this one. Iran is no threat to us, is not making nuclear weapons, and even if they were have every right to do so without interference from anyone. Isn't it funny that Obama criticizes Iran's crackdown on street punks who don't like the results of a fair election whose results were mostly confirmed by outside observers but they say nothing about Americans being attacked in Egypt while participating in the march to Gaza? What hypocrisy! scoop.co.nz He who tries to control everything, controls nothing. The more wars the USA starts in the world the less they are liked, the more likely they will fail in all of them. Meanwhile all this unjustified paranoia and excess "security" has taken the fun out of living in many of the countries. The "terrorists" have won by default, they have the western world locking themselves in a self imposed prison. In the end, there is no security for anyone on this planet, it's an illusion, we all die sometime. We should eat drink and be merry for tomorrow we may die, not live our lives under scrutiny by a government (big business) with motives other than caring if we live or die Furthermore, sanctions are a joke. Never in history have they worked. Iran likely couldn't care less if the USA boycotts them, why would they? They deal with China, Russia and dozens and dozens of other countries that have absolutely no intention of following suit.
