I have spent the last few hours happily shredding agreements, company formations and registrations from a Latino country. This is the second time in five years I have done this the first was from a potential business arrangement in Ukraine. I advised then we cannot get involved in a country that does not have British Common Law to back up our dealings. The short story is we identified a business opportunity, pursued it and did everything legally required to obtain and advance it. Last week it was revealed by a government official who needed to be paid what behind the scenes and our contracts and paperwork meant absolutely nothing. We saved millions of dollars this a.m. it is a good day. I plan on having for supper tonight a beef steak and kidney pie with Yorkshire pudding washed down with a Guinness... Cheers mate!
