"You think this about a bunch of nuts who get together every Friday to chant, "Death to America?"" Chanting doesn't bother me. If they physically attack me, my family or friends then THAT bothers me. A whole year before an election in the USA politicians of every stripe chant all kinds of things they don't mean to carry out LOLOL. You know as well as I do that people all over the world harbor hatred for the US and it's definitely not because we allegedly live a better life than some of them (not all) and again I defer to Ron Paul who tried to, last night, put the point across on CNN (Chanting News Nutwork) that there is a reason that people in some of these countries hate us but no one here seems to care about that because they are too busy with their jingoism (Extreme nationalism characterized especially by a belligerent foreign policy; chauvinistic patriotism) to admit that others on this planet have the right to have other forms of governments and to work their own way out of the dark ages (in some case 'stone age' as in Afghanistan) without a financially bankrupt and corrupt country trying to impose their questionable values on them by military force. Lindy, to be fair, people all over America sit in front of their TV's every day and chant (to themselves) death to Islam and Iran, Iraq or any number of imagined enemies. And on Friday many of us get drunk and chant every manner of expletives in bars, clubs and taverns across the country. What do you expect them to do on Friday night, play bingo at their local place of worship? :-)
