First, religion hasn't given us GMO foods. Scientists have.

As for the idea that bugs and animals won't eat GMO food, that simply is not true.

As for the idea the GMO food is categorically bad, thats an incredibly simple-minded idea.

We've been tampering with the genetics of animals and plants for thousands of years by selective breeding and selective crosses. Modern techniques of gene splicing do more faster but the purpose is the same. To improve a plant or animal for human use.

GMO food involves lots of different things. It could be some genetic modifications produce a bad result, some produce good results, some don't matter. A categorical condemnation of all genetic modification doesn't seem rational.

Which genetic modificiation(s) is/are bad?
