Interesting "Wiki" entry on the partitioning of the Ottoman Empire:

en.wikipedia.org

Note some of the boundaries that were proposed for Greece.

So much for "property rights" vis-a-vis the former Turkish land owners.

Technically.. yes. After all, your Palestinian friends wouldn't recognize THOSE titles and deeds as being valid because they would claim that the Turks didn't have the right to grant, or sell, that land to the Jews, right?
Wrong, the Arab Jews had as much right as anyone else. The dispute was with the European Jews, they were welcomed at first until they started coming in droves and started pushing the natives away including the Arab Jews. The land that the Zionists purchased was only at the beginning of the invasion, thus, the deeds that the Zionists hold is for a fraction of the land. Having said all that, I believe that the Palestinians would welcome digging out old deeds. Israel, OTOH would have none of it.

In fact, had it not been for the US and it's on-going policies of de-colonization, it's likely the Arab world would STILL be ruled by the British and French.
Interesting, you should tell it to those Arab countries, cause they are under the impression that they fought for their independence and I believe they celebrate the day of independence. Hawk, you should write them a letter and correct their perception.

That's something most of your ilk never give the US credit for.
LOL

Who are you talking about? The Hashimites? or the Palestinians? Read my post again and let me know.

Why don't you tell us? After all, in the post-1948 world all "Palestinians" living in the West Bank were Jordanian subjects.

So did you re-read my post, of is this your typical answer? If you do not know the answer, that is okay, I am not going to hold you to it, please do not bullshit.
