Daniel -

"Flagler says the following factors make him relatively comfortable with the year 2000 challenge: low IS turnover, good documentation, an early start on the problem, management commitment and internal staff dedicated to the project, a sound methodology and a decision not to convert noncritical reports and screens"

Behind the scenes details just from having a computer site directory & having been to Keene, NH:
- it's a 15 person shop. [Who knows? They may even talk to each other!]
- Keene, NH is a very nice place, but it's a tad off the beaten path.

Actually this last point & another one from the ComputerWorld story are important... in my travels I've found that companies in out-of-the way locations or industries very often started on their Y2K efforts 5+ years ago. Plus it really helps to be in a company small enough that the managers & the worker bees all have to look each other in the eye.
