R. Reid happened on Bush's watch. AND there were countless incidents of reporters smuggling box cutters on board US flights while Bush was president. Deal with it! The real problem is the CIA who Bush promised to clean up but never did. That shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. > If true, Richard Reid wouldn't have happened. Richard Reid happened less than 3 months after 9/11, before the 9/11 commission had gotten its pants on. For a similar event to happen now, 8 years later, is unconscionable. Obama simply must get us back on a war footing wrt terrorism. If he doesn't, a lot of innocent people are going to lose their lives.
