Just a brief note on Chiron, in response to an earlier post. Chiron has a reputation for good science, coupled with an utter failure to bring it to market in the form of usable drugs. There is enough dissatisfaction with the CEO that he might ultimately be forced out, though Novartis would probably have the ultimate say on such a move.

Good investing!

Yeah, well, I grew up around trains. Novartis is a fast one, but its a long moving target. I'll catch it just right. As for IPOs, I never bought an IPO anyway. Is this one secret or private or strictly limited or something, or is it like any other, requiring only a willing broker? Anyway, if the company (name?) is really worth its salt, it will continue to go up and up, post-IPO, as we all buy in! If not, who wants it? But, good luck. I wish you success. Tom (Jeez, you'd think a guy would have a little pity for a poor schoolteacher).
