Obama Effigy Burned in Afghanistan Over Civilian Deaths

AFP: Protesters took to the streets in Afghanistan on Wednesday, burning an effigy of the US president and shouting "death to Obama" to slam civilian deaths during Western military operations. Hundreds of university students blocked main roads in Jalalabad, capital of eastern Nangahar province, to protest the alleged deaths of 10 civilians, mostly school children, in a Western military operation on Saturday.

And he had much greater warning of what was coming down....

Why must you pinheads lie so much?

There was no specific actionable intel for 9/11. The President (GWB) received the same generalized warnings Clinton had been receiving for years.....

Are you really that stupid?

>> 9/11 happened on Bush's watch!

Your argument is totally disingenuous.

Bush had no intel he could have used to have foiled the 9/11 attacks. At all.

Clinton, OTOH, had innumerable shots at getting bin Laden and refused to do so because he viewed it as a "criminal" situation. Which, frankly, GWB did, as well. But GWB had no chance to have gotten bin Laden.

Whether getting bin Laden would have stopped 9/11 is unknown, but at best it is a "maybe".

In fact, the importance of getting bin Laden is a symbolic objective more than a real one. What was far more important, that GWB did successfully, is to kill off middle management and make it more difficult for coordinated attacks to occur. Which, to his credit, is one thing Obama has done right, IMO.

The problem with Obama is he is naive and confused, and unduly influenced by the Far Left who are lunatics. I believe OTJ training will solve the former issues, but the Far Left will be lunatics from here on out I suspect.
