A NYT liberal gives Obama a pass. So, WTF else is new? The reason people are expecting near-perfection on this issue is that we've HAD near-perfection over the prior 8 years since 9/11. We didn't have these problems under GWB. Because after 9/11 happened, GWB totally turned his focus to keeping the country safe. And he succeeded. Failed in some other areas, but absolutely did what a president's FIRST job is -- defending the country. Now, Obama's focus has been on getting a billion dollars in wild social spending, then a so-called "cap-and-trade" through one house, and then the last several months on a government takeover of our health care system. What about keeping the country safe? Not so much. We've had three terrorists attacks since Jan 21 while under GWB, NOT ONE post 9/11 attack.
