Is this merger really a good idea? Much as I like what Sequana is doing in genomics, it has been a disapointment as an investment... and so has Arris.

I think the major shareholders of both companies hope that some wonderful synergies will develop - or at least that there will be such a perception among investors. It would be nice if that happens... but I dont think it will anytime soon. This ARRS-SQNA is trying to become a mini Merck, and my instinct is that that will be a slow process.

So I'm voting no, for now, on this merger.
