What I think history will say about Bush, the KIND historians at least, was that he was manipulated into a war by Cheney and Rumsfeld, then went to the American people and conned THEM into it. I'm sure Cheney and Rove told him that as a "wartime president", he could expect great political support from the American people, after a disputed election amny thought was stolen. Rummy probably told him it would be great for their friends and the economy. The neocons thought it would be GREAT for Israel. At least Bush has the decency to keep his mouth shut. Cheney still thinks he knows the right direction for this country and won't shut his mouth. A sad decade, for sure, with a really bad president, arguably our worst.. Very true.
