<<<keeping it all so simple, fuss free, and expense light.

good points, no newsletters to interpret or subscriptions to pay, no worry of keying errors i.e. a buy order ends up a sell or vice versa, no currency translation calculations, no attempts to "get cute" with trading which inevitably backfire, no trying too hard on s.i. paying attention to all those buy posts and then wondering why the poster has gone silent when the thing goes down, no crying in one's milk or beer over bad drill results, etc...

did you play Stock Ticker when younger ? Only 6 choices, the original version had gold, silver, oil, industrials, bonds, grain

somewhere along the line, a newer version came out, silver was replaced with tech...although i don't know the exact release date of the newer version...my guess is it was timed very well for astute contrarians !

happy new year, TJ...

The 1980s and the 1990s were not good for gold. The 2000s were very good. That's one good decade out of three. Not very good odds, if you bet everything on gold.
