Working on it. I am having trouble finding the negative data in the literature than Tom referred to, but I've just started looking. The "Ross" manuscript that he refers to is a multicenter, randomized and blinded trial..........

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

The Einhaus study which he refers to as "accompanied by a very skeptical discussion" was a study in dogs, and the study was designed to assess healing after use of Adcon-L rather than the subject of the skepticism (as Tom outlined it), postoperative fibrosis and it's relationship to failed surgery. I didn't know about the commentary by the "editorial writer", and I need to get my hands on it. It could be serious, or the editorial writer could be a winger. Here's the Einhaus abstract........

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

Here's some (global perspective) negative commentary........

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

GLIA has shown that Adcon-L reduces the frequency of fibrosis. Einhaus et al. have shown that healing is not impaired in the presence of Adcon. Sounds good, but Tom's point is that some surgeons believe that fibrosis is not associated with failed surgery. The Ross study says the opposite..... "Patients having extensive peridural scar were 3.2 times more likely to experience recurrent radicular pain
than those patients with less extensive peridural scarring." More as I get it.

One more thought..... fibrosis certainly need not be a part of normal healing. That thought can be discounted. However, I can't dismiss controversy concerning the role of fibrosis in surgical failure.

Working on it.

Rebecca--IFSC--Sure looks good to me in terms of chart, TSV, BOP, OBV and 5/13/40 day EMA configuration. All are very bullish. Myron
