Loved your bucket list too, MM!!! I'm mindful again, of how brave you are. To live in the woods with few other humans could be a frightening thing, even while an exhilarating time exploring Nature!

Sounds like our goals on Families were the same....and no one ever told us it would be easy. We just thought it'd be easier than it has been....BUT unlike a POTUS we all know, we didn't blame others every time we turned around when a mishap happened. Being responsible for a family brings its own set of joys and challenges on a daily basis!

Raise a family and be proud of my kids as adults. Check. It wasn't easy, and at times I thought we failed.

Maybe you could build a miniature log cabin. First, to experiment and see what you want a "Big" one to look like, and how you want to make it. But you may find that it will be a calling for you, and something to do in retirement....LOTS of people collect finely made miniatures, both buildings, and items for the buildings. I've always thought that would be fun, interesting, and wouldn't take up lots of space to do it...

As far as a book, just do like Nike says "Just Do It"....Clean sheet of paper, or a new Word doc. Make this one a story of your life and of those around you. Then let your fingers fly along with your brain. At the VERY least, eventually when you are finished, your kids will truly love it....Who knows, it may spark the interest in you to get your other book farther along, or maybe even completed!
