It's time to fire a bunch of police then and repeal all the victimless so-called "crimes". <It's the generous pensions and not current services that will break local government. > Fire the firemen too. People and their insurers could arrange their own fire departments. The age of fires is pretty well over. I don't have fire insurance because I don't plan on burning my house down. It's decades since I have seen any houses burned down. Any that are tend to be state-owned houses provided to welfare recipients. Mqurice
