Just be sure to fill it up when the fuel gauge read 1/2 full. Two of my son's friends are diesel mechanics and that is their advice. I've gotten into the habit of filling up when my gauge reads 1/2 because I don't want to be caught without fuel in case of a local emergency.

I'm learning that too. I'm not sure why it is important to keep the tanks full, but if my tank is empty when the gauge says 1/3, that would be a good reason.

Moisture condenses in a half empty tank.
