FARRIS, The EPS of .06 for the first 6 months of 97 is based on the Total Shares Outstanding (19 million).

FAMH financials for the period ending 6-30-97 showed earnings of $1.2 Million with Total Shares Outstanding of 19 million.

$1.2M divided by 19M = .063 EPS.

My understanding is that FAMH had only about 2 million shares in the float before the 504 shares were issued to Alexander Wescott. When AW sold those shares to raise capital, it increased the float to about 7 million. But supposedly (according to the PR firm) the Total Shares Outstanding remained at 19 million.

In that scenario, we would still be looking at .09 EPS for the 4Q.

When they made the .09 EPS announcement, there were 20mill shares issued. There are still 20mill shares issued. This means they are looking at about .15 to .20 EPS for the year.

The increase in the size of the float has no impact on EPS as long as the shares issued remains unchanged..

Farris, I would assume that the estimated EPS of .09 for the 4th Q was figured on the total outstanding shares of 20 million. It is my understanding that this figure has not changed.

The increased float should not affect the estimated EPS. The .09 estimate should still be an accurate ESTIMATE.

The copy of the financials that I received for the first 6 months, showed a profit of 1,265,854.14. Using this figure and divided it by the total number of OUTSTANDING shares, you will get an EPS of .06329 for the first 6 month of 1997.

I agree with Dave 7 million in the float is not a big deal. What is important is how the money raised is spent. It appears that it is being used to acquire additional businesses. In my opinion this is good. They appear to be using the money to increase their revenues.
