Absolutely! These people don't want to take the time and research to see exactly what the problems downstream might be, both to people and to the mechanical appliances (cars, trucks, etc) that people have spent big bucks to purchase. The corn crop is renewable yes....but the actual cost to the consumer is still TBD....food costs up, damage to cars, etc still to be tallied, food so expensive in the stores because less corn for food, etc.... Ah, the law of unintended consequences. Some do-gooder figures out that ethanol is renewable.
