So what. If gold was more useful than it is, its relative rarity would mean something. Plenty of things are rarer than gold and are worth little. I am willing to bet that during the 2010s decade a broad worldwide stock market index, such as the Vanguard Total World Stock ETF, will outperform gold, including dividends. personal.vanguard.com Are you game?
