Kevin,

Are you around?? A quick read of AMGN please. It should close today above its 50-day ema on decent volume, and if it does, some technical buying will ensue. Don't think the stock is overbought, but there's resistance at 52ish. Trying to decide when to close my short puts, obviously on strength ...

Thanks.

Kevin, no rush on AMGN now, but whenever you can. My order to close the short puts filled. AMGN should retest its 50-day ema, especially in a volatile market whose downside is not cleanly resolved yet. No stock goes straight up (or straight down) so I'll look to sell the puts again on retrace down. Maybe Dec 50p instead of the Nov series.

*AV*--For a time being, stocks are going to provide income for me. The portfolio was created today with one change. I added 5 AMAT contracts that were an oversight when I posted the list last night.

The market is looking strong today with some guerilla warfare taking place. As I try to become more proficient in the OEX (Hey Patrick!!!), I am also trying to do some daytrading using the list from last night.

I am going to play 3 column A, 2 column B, and 1 column C long for the day or until a decent gain is achieved. On the Option side, its one from each column.

Today was a great day to start since the long shares are AMAT, ASYT, WDC from "A", ATMID, CFMT from "B" and BYDS from "C" with QQYCF, NLQCI, and KCQCK from the options list.

So far the ATMID and CFMT have been sold off for more than a 5% gain with confirmation on QQYCF @ 6.375 still pending. ATMID and CFMT have been replaced with PLAB (44) and CYMI (23.5) for tomorrow and MFQAP will replace QQYCF if trade clears.

Strategy is to take no less than 5% on Long and 25% on Options. Anytime a 10% has been achieved (long) or 50% (option) within a week, it is sold off. This is a $25,000 severance investment buckets with the hopes of generating $2,500 week living expenses<GGG>. Any help from seasoned daytraders would be appreciated since all I want to do is take a part of the severance package and create a comfortable income off it of $2,500/week. Each week I accomplish this results in two weeks that I do not need to find other sources of employment.

BTW-My state pays a maximum $300/wk unemployment. That just about takes care of the mortgage<GGG>.

Yeah Kevin, Cabin Fever after just one day!!! WHOOPS< Market just closed. I gotta learn to type faster. Goal for the week and month: Improve typing speed.

Andrew
