you now know that your injector and lifter pumps are new and should last the lifetime of the truck. ye of the silver lining. :) we just got lucky with the parent's vehicle. It was making a rattle rattle noise and it turned out one of the catalytic (sp?) convertors was ... as the mechanic put it "trying to come apart". I'm glad it rattled to let us know what it was trying to do and get it fixed before it achieved its aim.
