Darin, this news should bolster the stock well. It depends on which quarter AMAT will register the "profits" from the litigation settlement. This $80M represents sales of about 30-40 pieces of equipment, and should moderate any short term sales pushouts/delays of orders, thus maintaining stock par value. Another variable that improves the stocks short term outlook. Now all AMAT needs is to win the outstanding ligation against NVLS/Varian for another $80M and the upward race will be on again!8^) BB
